Essential Job Functions: * Responsible for providing assistance to all technicians in all major areas of testing * Perform all qualification testing of military and civilian programs. * Ability to run testing in the following areas: Air, Liquid Filter, and Manifold test areas. * Review job order, relevant (SDS) (Safety Data Sheet.) and fully understand requirements in accordance with laboratory SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) * Assure all calculations (utilizing basic mathematics and statistics) are performed correctly * Monitor test performance, test equipment, and data acquisition * Apply technical knowledge in analyzing, investigating, and resolving assigned test related problems * Perform vibration, endurance, and impulse testing * Lead preventative maintenance KPI on laboratory equipment. * Sets-up and tests complete units and subassemblies under operational conditions * Participate in continuous improvement activities * Assist the Laboratory Supervisor with management function during his/her absence. Minimum Qualifications * Degree in Aerospace Maintenance, Electrical, Power Plant Petroleum Repair preferred * 10+ years of working experience in aerospace qualification testing in multiple aerospace products. * Experience and knowledge of air and fluid mechanical systems and electronic controls. * Solid understanding of basic mechanic hand tools (i.e. screw drivers, wrenches, drills, saws, etc.) * Ability to read, interpret, maintain complicated technical specifications and procedures. * Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Work overtime as assigned When you join us, you ll also be joining Danaher s global organization, where 69,000 people wake up every day determined to help our customers win.
