Description :
Performs professional and scientific work requiring the design, development and adaptation of mathematical and statistical methods in support of Test & Evaluation. Generates test designs using statistical software. Evaluates data management and collection methodology with regard to test design and analysis. Reviews planning documents and test concepts to ensure proper application and documentation of experimental designs and planned analytical methods. Assists evaluation efforts through the use of statistical software to analyze test data. Reviews emerging results and evaluation report documents for proper use of rigorous statistical methods. Recommends measures to improve methods, performance, and quality of product or service, and suggests changes to increase efficiency.

This position is contingent upon a pending Government contract award and funding availability.

Requirements

At least a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics or Mathematics or closely related technical discipline. Must have at least eight years of experience in the application of statistical methods to plan testing and analyze the resulting data using a variety of statistical software packages. Secret security clearance is required

Five (5) years of experience gained within the last 10 years (2010 to present) in at least one of the following areas:

a. DT, OT, and evaluation methods (includes T&E planning, test design, test readiness, test execution, data collection during test, evaluation of test or modeling data, and development of evaluation analysis plans and reports) for Army and Joint Service CBRND systems/subsystems;

b. Integrating Army and Joint Service system acquisition documentation (includes DOD, Army, and ATEC regulations, pamphlets, instructions, and guidance) in the development of DOD system acquisition products for T&E of CBRND systems/subsystems;

c. Executing OSD methodologies and policies related to assessment of Joint Capability Technology Demonstrations and Advanced Technology Demonstrations for CBRND systems/subsystems;

d. Application of Army and Joint Service metrics at various stages of equipment development (includes planning, analysis, evaluation, integration, testing, and acceptance phases) for CBRND systems/subsystems;

e. Test methods, infrastructure, and capability gaps related to testing and processes of CBRND systems/subsystems;

f. Oral and written communication such as briefings, writing technical papers, etc. (includes T&E plans and reports such as SEP, TEMP, ESR, CIPR, OT and/or DT Test Plans, OMAR, OER, OAR, CLR, SR, SC) for CBRND systems/subsystems and programs.
