Boeing is seeking a Mid-level Quality Engineer to work in Global Services – Training & Professional Services. This mid-level Quality Engineer will support the defense platforms sustainment role, including the manufacturing environment for training devices and hardware located in St. Louis, MO. Quality engineers support all phases of the development life-cycle from inception to post-delivery on a variety of aircraft, labs, aircrew and maintenance training devices. nPosition Responsibilities: nIntegrate contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation. nDevelops quality metrics, design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements. nParticipates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs (PCA, FCA, APT, etc.). nPerforms analysis and process audits to ensure manufacturing and test readiness. nRecommends corrective actions to address non-conformances. nPerforms benchmarking and other forms of analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved. nWorks under general direction nThis position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. nBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): nBachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. nAbility to obtain U.S. Security Clearance, for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. (Post Start) n3-5 years Quality / AS9100 / Quality Processes experience n3-5 years of reading blueprints and working with requirements n3-5 years working with RCCA nAbility to work in a team environment nExcellent communication skills nExcellent organization skills nPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): nPrevious work in the Aviation industry nLEAN nExperience working projects nTypical Education & Experience:n nEducation/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years’ related work experience, 10 years’ related work experience, etc.). nSecurity Clearance: nUS – Ability to obtain Interim and/or Final Clearances (Post Start) nRelocation: nThis position does not offer relocation.
