In this position, the Research Assistant will manage and track essential data, while working closely with Principle Investigators, Clinical Research Nurse and medical teams. The research assistant plays a key role in monitoring clinical trials, to ensure compliance of procedures and protocols. Research assistant will document findings, assist in recording research from trials and organize large amounts of data. Research assistant will assist in administrative duties such as completing reports and assist with committee work, including committee attendance. Clinical Trials Research Assistant will be under the direct supervision of the Clinical Research Nurse and Principle Investigator(s). RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS: – Associate Degree or enrolled in Bachelor’s degree in Science or health care required. – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team as well as independently. – Proven experience working in Clinical Trials setting and the ability to make high-level decisions under a fast paced environment is preferred. – Working knowledge of medical oncology or cancer terminology highly preferred. – Proven ability to multi-task, maintain confidentiality, extremely organized and meticulous with details. – Experience working with a study sponsor personnel a plus. – Advanced computer skills with Excel, Word, and competence with electronic medical databases such as EMR-EPIC or similar. – Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry and research laboratories helpful. – Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume environment. – Completes and maintains CITI training requirement within 3 months of hire.
