Our lab established the first B cell multimer-based enrichment for allergen-specific B cells to study Ara h 2 specific B cells in peanut oral immunotherapy. We are seeking a PhD, MD/PhD, or MD scientist with a background in molecular biology with an interest in bioinformatics to lead follow-up studies in cohorts of food allergy, including peanut oral immunotherapy, but also eosinophilic esophagitis. In order to understand the role of allergen-specific B cells in the development of food allergies and treatment, we propose to utilize these cutting-edge technologies, unifying allergen-specific B cell studies with transcriptomics, proteomics, and functional assays to discover novel therapies for food allergy. Qualifications The ideal candidate has a strong background and experimental expertise in cellular and molecular immunology, including genomics approaches.
