To learn more, please visit our website: What we want A postdoctoral position is available with an immediate starting date to lead research in NMR based drug discovery. The project includes the development of methods for the screening of protein-ligand interactions in live cells. We areing NMR spectroscopy in combination with state-of-the art hyperpolarization methods. The technique of dissolution dynamic nuclear polarization is used to strongly enhance NMR signals, and enable the characterization of molecular dynamics and interactions. We seek a talented researcher with an appropriate PhD, preferably in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biophysics, or a related field. In-depth research experience either in biochemical methods including the culturing and characterization of mammalian cells, or in advanced NMR methodology, is a plus. We are looking for a colleague who is highly motivated to their expertise in an interdisciplinary team. The position will assist the postdoctoral researcher to develop new skills in the application of modern techniques in magnetic resonance in the life sciences. The research includes a combination of the application of state-of-the-art magnetic resonance techniques with hyperpolarization, as well as the of biochemical principles. Analyze data and disseminate results, including through scientific publications, presentations, group meetings and periodic reports. Attend scientific meetings and seminars for research enhancement. Keep up to date on scientific research via reading of literature, etc. Provide advice and assistance to other laboratory team members, act as a mentor to students.
