Title Postdoctoral Scholar in Machine Learning and Computational Imaging School Faculty of Arts and Sciences Department/Area Center for Advanced Imaging Position Description Harvard is seeking applicants for a postdoctoral position in Machine Learning and Computational Microscopy. This is a one-year appointment, with the expectation that it will be extended up to two years after review. A postdoctoral position is currently available at the Center for Advanced Imaging at Harvard with Dr. Dushan Wadduwage to develop novel computational imaging technologies for microscopy. We seek life and physical scientists with a background in machine learning, computational imaging, or both. Research will focus on designing and developing novel computational imaging methods based on physics-driven machine learning. Candidates will model optical systems in machine learning frameworks to design imaging instruments for real-world biological applications. Basic Qualifications A PhD in computer science, physics or a related field, by the time the appointment begins, and an interest in bio-imaging are required. Previous research experience related to optics or biology is an advantage.
