We are currently seeking an innovative Scientific and Laboratory Services (SLS) Principal Scientist to be our Global Scientific Applications (SA) lead for wet etch and cleans (WEC). As the WEC applications SME you would closely engage with R & D, Marketing, Sales and external customers to develop membrane and filtration solutions for the Microelectronics business unit (BU) that meet or exceed technical specifications. To do this, you will need to be adept at acquiring technical voice-of-customer (VoC) and feedback for filtration technologies, solving filter performance problems, delivering product/application presentations, supporting internal/external technical review meetings and conducting filtration seminars. We are flexible on relocation, there is travel associated with this position, approximately 25%. Basic Qualifications: PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Materials Science. A minimum of 4 years of post-graduate experience in Microelectronics industry or Semiconductor Industry (Processes and/or Materials) 4 + years of electronic materials experience in advanced surface preparation wet-etching chemicals used in semiconductor processes, on-wafer defect, metrology techniques and materials characterization techniques.
