Job Description Overview The Contact Center Team at LogMeIn is looking for an experienced QA Automation developer. Your primary focus will be to drive the quality of the Contact Center experience web and desktop (electron-based) application, including definition and implementation of automated and manual test suites across the product. At LogMeIn, we want developers in test who find innovative ways to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecyclenot just at the end. We want seasoned engineers with a knack for designing, implementing, documenting, and evangelizing easy to use test plans, tests, and testing utilities that enable LogMeIns developers and developers in test to deliver engaging high-quality products. This is a team of doers. We don’t hide behind reviews, change control, or validation outside of the team. We are responsible for the automated testing, application design, choice of tools, deployment, operation, and lifecycle of our applications. With this autonomy comes great responsibility. To make this work, we expect everyone on the team to understand the impact their changes might have on other teams and the larger GoToConnect platform as a whole and to consider all aspects of software design on a daily basis . Keywords: S elenium, Java, JavaScript, Browserstack / Saucelabs , HTML, CSS, Angular, React , Robot Framework Responsibilities – Oversee the design, implementation and execution of test strategies to ensure product quality. – Applies understanding related to developing, modifying and evaluating test cases based on user stories relevant to manual and automated test planning. – Participates in code peer reviews, designs sessions, and setup reusable and maintainable automated scripts to verify the functionality, accuracy and efficiency of the Contact Center experience across platforms – Actively participates in scrum ceremonies, leads smoke tests, and code deployment process improvements. – Proactively expands knowledge regarding Agile software test methodologies and advancement, incorporating this knowledge where applicable . S eeks out internal mentors, courses and various learning opportunities – Modify and evaluate software test plans and test automation frameworks used to test and optimize complex applications, resolving issues in innovative and practical ways. – Proactively provide recommendations to working groups regarding the improvement of testing practices in the wider organization. – Contributes to the current automation frameworks base code. – Assist in researching and providing solutions and to add, modify, or enhance previously created automated scripts and frameworks. Qualifications – Bachelors degree or equivalent in computer science or related field.
