You: Bold Group is seeking a motivated QA Engineer to add to its team. This role is responsible for identifying and improving the measurable quality of Bold Groups’ software products through manual and automated test execution. Must demonstrate strong analytical skills to develop and create test plans for each product release within an extensive software suite. Additional requirements are to perform testing of software iterations and ensure stable results with no regression issues for existing functions. This would include black box, white box, build acceptance, regression, and complete functionality testing. The ideal candidate must be able to follow specific, detailed procedures and be able to review functionality for technical accuracy and requirement adherence. Key Responsibilities: – Work in an Agile Scrum environment with our engineering and product teams. – Execute manual and automated test cases for web-based and Windows applications. – Keep the customer experience in mind during the testing process. – Report bugs with proper steps to reproduce and necessary details in our bug tracking system. – Partner with Developers to create test plans for all products and releases. – Demo new products to internal departments as needed. – Assist Customer Support and other departments with questions and issues. – Thorough documentation of testing processes and findings to ensure all code is covered. – Continuously and effectively advocate for the reduction in active defects. – Identify and document all regression issues in a timely manner. – Verify all new code with a direct focus on User Stories and associated requirements. – Provide regular, detailed status reports on progress and execution. – Assist team with problem-solving and debugging to ensure solid, bug-free platforms Requirements: – At least 2 years of QA experience. – Ability to quickly learn new technologies – Proven ability to set up and execute test cases – Strong written and verbal communication skills. – Skilled at clear and concise documentation of testing processes and results. – Ability to work closely with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve software bugs – Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. – Legally authorized to work in the US Nice to Haves: – Pursuing a degree in computer science, computer engineering or a related field. – Experience working in an Agile environment. – Experience with automated testing tools. – Familiar using source control systems – Familiarity with SQL and relational databases – Experience writing test cases. – Experience documenting defects and following them through to resolution. – Experience with Telerik Test Studio. – Experience with Agile/DevOps Software Development Principles. – Experience with Microsoft DevOps tools – Experience with Microsoft server environments Benefits & Perks: – Competitive salary – Robust medical benefits & 401(k) – Gym stipend – Start with 17 days of PTO, Birthday, and Volunteer Time – Snacks, lunches, and happy hours for This Job
