Position: Quality Assurance Associate -Supplier Documentation Specialist Location: Stafford Springs, CT Job Id: 8477 # of Openings: 1 Quality Assurance Associate – Supplier Quality Documentation Specialist Scope: This position is responsible for the up-front validation of product documentation compliance to all TTM and customer requirements. As product is received, this individual will be responsible for reviewing documentation packages submitted by the supplier. Duties & Responsibilities: Inspect sub-tier certificates of conformance and associated documentation to ensure compliance set forth by TTM standards. Coordinate with receiving, purchasing, and quality departments as well as directly with suppliers on any issues resulting from documentation review. All other assigned duties as required within the quality organization. Job Qualifications and Prerequisites: – Strong attention to detail and communication skills. – Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office. – Ability to pass eye exam with minimum 20/20 vision that may be corrected via eyeglasses or contact lenses as required. Eye exam is required annually. – Ability to accurately and effectively present information for management review. – Ability to define problems. Collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. – Must be able to handle a fast paced environment, changing priorities and high volume of workload. – Due to ITAR requirements, applicants must be a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident. – Regular attendance is an essential job function for this position. – Strong communication skills in English-verbal & written, planning and ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization. – Work up to 10 hours a day, 5 days a week and is flexible to work weekends. – Excellent interpersonal skills; willingness to be part of a team – Good English skills with the ability to read, write and communicate clearly. – Good reading vision; ability to sit/stand up to 8 hours a day. Education: – AS, Engineering Science or equivalent combination of education and experience, or 3-5 years technical work experience in electronics manufacturing/engineering or related field. ITAR/Export: Must comply with the TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services. EHS Requirements: – Accomplish all job related paperwork in the most accurate, timely and ethical manner. – Communicate regularly to supervisors/managers any safety hazards and issues, suggests procedural changes, maintains a clean, safe work environment. – Properly handle and dispose all waste, including hazardous wastes that are generated in daily operations as directed by the EHS department. – Responsible to report all accidents, near misses, unsafe acts and unsafe conditions. Perform job duties utilizing the required and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Full participation in safety training and the ability to understand and follow directions identified in the Job Safety Analysis (JSA), PPE Assessments, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and all Safety Procedures and Alerts.
