Boeing Talent Acquisition is currently looking for one Quality Engineer to join their team in Fort Walton Beach, FL. This Associate Level Supplier Quality Engineer represents the Supplier Quality function on team activities to research contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements for applicability to specific proposals and program processes and documentation for Boeing Global Services (BGS). nPosition Responsibilities: nServe as the AS9100D Deputy Quality Management Representative for the Boeing Fort Walton Beach site. nReviews prime contract quality requirements, applies quality clauses to purchase orders, manages supplier approvals nSupports DCMA CAR’s, manages supplier corrective action, and serves as Supplier Notice of Escape (NOE) focal. nDevelops sections of quality metrics, design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements. nAnalyzes capability assessments to support supplier selection activities. Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs. nAnalyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions. nWorks under general supervision. nThis position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. nBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): n1+ year experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or experience in a regulated industry nExperience with Quality Management System requirements nBachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry nPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): nPrior Quality experience n1+ year of manufacturing and/or quality experience nBachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering nTypical Education & Experience:n nEducation/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. nRelocation: nThis position does not offer relocation.
