HOW YOU CAN MAKE AN IMPACT Location: Jefferson City, TN – Responsible for all internal plant quality operations, budgets and personnel – Develop close working relationships with the plant Operations Leadership Teams – Develop high performing employee led teams – Manage production and quality control via 3D measurement system – Work cross-functionally to manage corrective actions and determine root cause analysis – Engage and connect with all plant employees – Develop a strong sense of purpose within all plant quality personnel – Work collaboratively within Oshkosh Manufacturing facility to share and identify/implement best practices – Serve as the plant management representative responsible for the voice of quality and adherence to the Quality Management System (QMS) – Identify and close gaps in pursuit of IATF 16949 certification – Develop quality programs that exceed customer expectations and requirements while meeting direct and indirect cost targets – Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with our internal/external customers/suppliers – Willingness to accept and delegate authority – Accurately maintain company records and documents in accordance with policies and procedures – Interview, supervise, develop, and provide formative experiences for employees – Acknowledge team accomplishments – Report and respond to internal/external customer identified issues – Develop and implement effective and sustainable corrective/preventative actions utilizing structured data driven problem solving methods – Support housekeeping and safety – Ensure personnel have the resources required to perform their jobs – Proactively plan and execute plans in accordance with established timelines – Willingness to complete additional advanced training/educational courses as required – WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU – Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Business, Operations Management, or related field – 5 plus years of related work experience WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT – 2+ years of welding/ fabrication knowledge – Armor welding fabrication knowledge – Advanced training/experience in the use of statistical techniques and process applications – Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, Reliance, 3-D modeling, and JDE proficiency is required within 3 months in this position *OSK100 Oshkosh is committed to working with and offering reasonable accommodation to job applicants with disabilities.
