Description :
Lead team of internal Advanced Workflow Specialists. Manage and oversee daily call center operations, implement and manage KPIs to meet department standards. Provide technical and application support for all widefield and confocal products to Leica s Life Science Research customers as well as Sales Specialists, Account Managers, agents and dealers in all facets of their selling activities. Supports exhibitions and organizes short course support, including planning, communicating, teaching and reporting. Leica Microsystems Inc. is an equal opportunity employer. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Responsibility (includes but not limited to) * SALES SUPPORT: * Perform successful product demonstrations to drive sales results * Schedule and coordinate demos on confocal and widefield products * Schedule and support product seminars, workshops, and courses * Test and maintain demo systems * Daily management of imaging facilities and assets * CUSTOMER SUPPORT: * Provides expert product, application and software support and training to customers, sales and service organization * Triage technical problems during customer support * Document and route support issues * Generates and acts on the feedback on customer preferences, suggestions, product performance and other information to enhance the sale of Leica products. * Implement and track metrics to measure customer satisfaction REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION Required * Experience in working with Confocal and Widefield microscopy products is a must * A minimum of two years experience providing technical, software of application support to sales/technical organizations or research customers is essential Leadership skills * Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills * Valid driver s license * Must have a valid credit card and be able to pay for reimbursable expenses. * Must live in the territory Preferred * Sales experience in selling products of a technical nature is desirable but not mandatory * In-depth knowledge of the microscopy market is also highly desirable * Experience with Leica Confocal is desirable.
