Applicants will be required to work on site during the phased re-opening of research programs at Dell Medical School. Responsibilities – * Perform basic molecular biology assays including cloning and production of plasmids * Produce and purify proteins for therapeutic studies using mammalian production systems * Culture and maintain mammalian cell lines * Analyze proteins using biological, immunological, and biochemical techniques * Testing and developing drug delivery vehicles in murine models * Analysis of tissues using microscopy, FACs, and mass spectrometry techniques Required Qualifications – Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in biochemistry, engineering, or similar related field. Laboratory experience/familiarity as well as enthusiasm to learn new techniques and skills. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate. Preferred Qualifications – Master’s degree in biochemistry or biomedical engineering with previous experience and/or desire to produce protein/particle therapeutics for solid tumor applications. Experience/interest in working with rodent models of human disease.
