Description :
Encoded Therapeutics Inc. is a biotechnology company advancing precision medicines for a broad range of genetic disorders. Our mission is to unlock new opportunities for viral gene therapy through genomics-driven discovery. We focus on delivering life-changing advances for individuals with genetic disorders not addressable with current approaches. For more information, please visit [

We are recruiting a Scientist to join our Technology team to help lead our validation and characterization of novel regulatory elements, enabling the development of cutting edge AAV gene therapies. We are seeking a versatile, collaborative scientist to lead our single nucleus technology development efforts in a dynamic, team-centered environment. In addition to a strong background in NGS/single nucleus sequencing, the ideal candidate will have a broad foundation in neurobiology, rodent models, and regulatory genomics. The successful candidate will be passionate, collaborative, and able to drive multiple projects independently.

* Independently drives single-cell/single-nucleus sequencing and other Next GenerationSequencing (NGS) experiments to develop our technology in support of our research pipelines
* Design and contribute to animal studies to characterize novel regulatory elements
* Collaborate with preclinical and in vivo scientists to help drive our discovery and validation pipeline through multiple approaches, including immuno-histochemistry (IHC) and other downstream molecular readouts
* Collaborate with computational biology team for data analysis and interpretation
* Conduct additional experimental research and development work to support development of novel AAV therapeutics to advance our discovery pipeline
* Design and execute experiments based on general guidance and stated research objectives. Analyze and interpret data and present results
* Participate in cross-functional collaborations with multiple groups to advance broad company goals and objectives
* Perform flow cytometry, FACS, cell-sorting, experiments and assays
* Coordinate tasks across multiple projects/technologies and plans, prioritizes, and manages projects to meet organizational goals.
