Mathematica is looking for a Senior Data Scientist with the experience and background to work effectively at the intersection of public policy, data, data science, and product development. As_Such,_The_Senior_Data_Scientist_Will This position will contribute to the ideation, design, and development of data science and analytics products supporting asset-based consulting in health- focused public sector markets. * Understand customers analytics and data science needs, including the development and deployment of complex models * Solution product-based approaches to meet those needs * Assist in bringing those product-based approaches to market Position_Requirements * At least ten years of experience performing data analytics and data science work, including experience executing machine learning algorithms, network analysis, and natural language processing, as well as experience in algorithmic fairness and ethics * Demonstrated experience with cloud computing environments and leading- edge data technology and data science tools * Demonstrated experience in the development of product-based approaches to the delivery of analytics and data science * Experience with healthcare datasets, including Medicare and Medicaid claims and enrollment data, and FHIR standards. Also, experience with the acquisition of a broad array of datasets to fuel effective machine learning algorithms is a plus. * Graduate degree, with an excellent academic record, in statistics, data science, math, operations research, computer science, and/or a social science * Experience leading large, multi-disciplinary teams To apply, please submit a cover letter, resume, location preference, and salary expectations.
