This position will be dedicated to the Data Delivery function within the Clinical Data Reporting & Analytics group and contribute to the improvement of clinical data review, cleaning efficiency and formal statistical analyses by providing innovative and forward thinking Extract Transform and Load (ETL) solutions. Serve as a primary data delivery contact for stakeholders including data management, reporting and analytics, clinical data reviewers, and biostatistics. Responsible for planning, connecting to the different data sources, designing and developing the mappings, scheduling those mappings within the Clinical Data Warehouse, monitoring and maintaining the ETL process within the Clinical Data warehouse. Key Responsibilities and Major Duties – Interface/liaise with end users – Leverage technical expertise to define feasible solutions and understand limitations – Can translate requirements/specifications to programmers – Can create/develop prototypes for new solutions as applicable – Create best practices for data loading, transformation and extraction. – Provide support, mentoring and training to the team – Develop data architecture, data modeling, and ETL mapping solutions within structured data warehouse environment. – Facilitate requirements gathering using expert listening skills and develop unique simple solutions to meet the immediate and long-term needs of business customers. – Supervise design throughout implementation process. – Develop and implement ETL routines according to the Data Ware House (DWH) design and architecture. – Support the development and validation required through the lifecycle of the DWH, maintain user connectivity and provide adequate security for data warehouse. – Monitor the DWH systems performance and integrity; provide corrective and preventative maintenance as required. – Manage multiple projects at once. – Maintain data integrity and traceability across the transformation lifecycle from the Source to Target List of Minimum Requirements – Degree/Certification/Experience – Bachelor degree required, preferably in fields such as computer science, programming, data management, data science – Minimum 5-7 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry or equivalent years in healthcare or relevant industry – Experience with varied Data warehouse tools such as elluminate, Informatica/SQL/MySQL/ORACLE DB – Competencies – Strong analytic and problem solving skills – Solution oriented – Strong understanding of relational databases – Strong communication skills Around the world, we are passionate about making an impact on the lives of patients with serious diseases.
