OK, HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL ACTUALLY BE DOING: – Results Oriented: As a member of our Enterprise Development team, you will contribute to the holistic effort of delivering high quality software on time and on budget. – Hands-On Testing: Analyze and independently identify complex problems within our software, based on customer reported inquiries. You will be responsible for performing hands-on new feature and function testing to ensure product functionality is working according to specifications; this will happen on tight timelines while also writing test cases and preparing our overseas team for hand-off tasks. – Special Projects: Depending on your specific skills, talents and areas of interest, we also require that each of our team members become a subject matter expert in an area aligned with the company’s strategic objectives and take on special projects to improve process, testing methods or cross-training and knowledge transfer. THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW OR HAVE DONE IN THE PAST: – Be familiar with the agile methodology and continuous integration (i.e. nightly built and release). – Ability to investigate and debug difficult problems – Creative thinker and strong problem solver – A passion for user-focused design & high quality technology – Comfortable and adaptable in a fast-paced and informal environment Preferred Experience: – Testing with Enterprise grade Secure Browser on mobile devices – Testing SSL websites, Certificates and authentication protocols – NTLM and Kerberos. – Experience in Web server set up and deploying web pages with various authentication schemes. – Experience with one or more of the following: Cocoa, Java, JavaScript, C, C++, Objective-C, C#, iOS SDK, Android SDK, other mobile SDKs – Strong analytics and troubleshooting skills – Experience in one of the following platforms: iOS, Android, Mac OS X. Multiple platforms is a plus – Experience testing highly scalable enterprise client-server software. – Experience with blackbox, integration, regression and end-to-end testing. – Experience with Test Case Management Tools including ApTest Manager. – Experience with Defect Tracking Tools including JIRA – 7 years experience prefer Additional Skills – Knowledge about troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, fiddler, is a plus. – Understanding of key protocols such as Http, https, TCP/IP, telnet, UDP, SMTP etc. is a plus – Proficient in White-Box and Black-Box testing techniques – Strong problem solving and organizational skills. – Strong communication skills – Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment – Comprehensive analysis of technical issues, such as: – System performance analysis – Design for Testability – Root-cause analysis of issues regardless of source (hardware, system, or software) – Be able to perform log analysis to get root cause of customer issues – Experience troubleshooting and handling Customer Escalation will be a plus. – Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other related sciences at an accredited college or university THE KIND OF PROFESSIONAL YOU SHOULD BE: – Relentlessly resourceful. You don’t use the word can’t very much. – Must have a passion for quality and a bias towards speed. – Must be a motivated self-starter with a short learning curve. – Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding, dynamic (and sometimes chaotic) environment. – Must be able to learn new technical areas quickly. – Excellent organization, attention to detail, and communication skills along with the ability to work well with others. – Excellent command of written and spoken English, especially when it comes to taking technically complex concepts, and translating these into written form that even non-technical individuals can understand.
