We are looking for an accomplished technical test engineer; someone with the technical ability for deep understanding of architectures, strong scripting experience to automate and innovate testing scenarios, and the leadership to encourage our engineering team. As a key member of our automotive group, you will be working on the real-time challenges outstanding to the automotive industry and our automotive products. As part of the automotive software testing organization, you will engage with both software and hardware engineering teams covering multiple domains to provide a quality product. What you’ll be doing: – As a member of the Autonomous Vehicle Software Test Engineer team, you will work on end-to-end software and hardware testing for autonomous driving. You will collaborate with a team of engineers with multifaceted strengths, encompassing the entire NVIDIA Automotive platform. As such, you should have a track record of working well across organizations. – Work on the autonomous vehicle for proving ground, public road critical metric/coverage testing. – Work on embedded/ADAS system with Linux/QNX. – Review product requirements and develop test matrix. – Build test planning and Key Performance Indicators and communicate test progress to management and design engineering teams. – Debug, solve issues and work with engineers to root cause. – Build positive relationships with 3rd party proving grounds, engineering and test teams, and external governing agencies. – Write scripts and automate around the testing scope. What we need to see: – Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience0 in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering or have a technical degree – 5+ years of proven experience. – Demonstrate New Car Assessment Program and ADAS knowledge. – Excellent test process/flow with software debugging skills in Linux/QNX environments. – Experience with a scripting language, including Python and Bash. – Some familiarity with embedded platforms and system software. – Self-motivated to learn new things and a passion for embracing technology. – Strong leadership & interpersonal skills are indispensable.
