Description :
Primary Purpose:
Responsible for HPNEs Supplier Quality Program which includes Supplier nonconformances, MRB Coordinator, Supplier CAPAs, Supplier qualification and Supplier management.
Reports To: Director of Quality
Primary Functions:
* Perform Supplier qualification of all existing and potential new Suppliers
* Conduct periodic surveillance audits based on established Supplier Audit Schedule
* Conduct qualification audits for potential new Suppliers
* Establish and maintain Supplier Audit Schedule
* Manage Suppliers through the review of Supplier performance data, communicate Supplier performance via Supplier scorecards and drive improvements in Suppliers process and parts delivered
* Review and/or update all Supplier files on an annual basis
* Maintain Supplier Quality Program to ensure compliance on all levels
* Initiate implementation of Supplier proposed changes through HPNEs Change Control Process
* Create, revise and implement MSs (Material Specification) and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedure)
* Provide daily quality support for issues related to supplier materials at the point of: Receiving, Incoming Inspection, In-Process/Final Inspection and Customer Returns
* Initiate Supplier CAPAs (Corrective Action Preventive Action) and assist with Customer Complaints pertaining to Supplier nonconformances
* Chair MRB Meetings and provide MRB Reports
* Report on Supplier performance and trends for Management Review
* Completes all tasks within established guidelines
* Maintains work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations. Understand and apply principles of GMP and ISO Standards.
* Must be able to work in a Team environment, multi-task and communicate effectively
* Supports continuous improvement and elimination of waste from processes and methods
* Other duties as assigned
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years experience in related position
* Experience required with demonstrated improvement of supplier quality and strong background in Supplier auditing
* Experience required with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485
* Experience required with cGMP and GDP
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
