We’re scaling rapidly and are searching for an experienced researcher capable of blending methodologies with data-driven insights to build compelling business cases to support our New Ventures team. You will use a mix of qualitative and quantitative research techniques to support our product management teams in understanding product market fit, identifying new opportunities, informing our MVP requirements, and bringing the product to market. What you’ll do as a User Researcher: Champion research and user-centered design for our organization’s New Ventures vertical. Support our product management team from ideation to post-launch optimizations by providing user insights and analysis at every phase of the product development cycle. Shape and execute research plans based on business needs and growth/innovation initiatives. Inspire curiosity around research for every member of our organization to ensure we make our business and product decisions on user insights. Be a trusted collaborator, partner, and knowledge leader for stakeholders across the organization Interpret research results, implications, market analysis, and gather strategic intelligence to provide insights regarding market trends and our customers’ needs and difficulties. Work in a timely manner with product teams to ensure we are supporting their deadlines and not slowing down production, development, or launch. Direct priorities and approaches for research projects to ensure the most effective and efficient use of resources. What skills you have: Ideally have 3+ years of experience as a hands-on researcher for digital products. Evidence of an entrepreneurial mindset and drive through industry-wide deep dives into product categories. Experience working with product teams at each stage of the product development lifecycle. Experience in bringing a new digital product to market. Expertise in a broad range of methodologies including ethnographic research, site visits, interviews, surveys, lean experimentation, and more. Digital product experience preferred in the sports/gaming space. Candidates with experience delivering in multiple digital-first consumer facing sectors are ideal. Experience partnering with analytics teams to create meaningful insights and recommendations. Ability to analyze and report qualitative and quantitative information in a way that engages other team members. Bachelor’s degree in psychology, human factors, HCI, or an equivalent field is required. #LI-WG1 Who are we a good fit for?
