Job Description
The Quality Control Chemist will be responsible for preparing check standards and performing instrument maintenance. Success in this role requires attention to detail, teamwork, proven organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Perform laboratory procedures to support ongoing operations and prepare in-house calibration standards.
Adhere strictly to established standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments including GC/MS, GC/FID, HPLC, and UHPLC/MS.
Follow both written protocols and verbal instructions accurately.
Complete complex procedures with precision and achieve production and/or validation targets.
Conduct timely validation of manufactured products to ensure quality and compliance.
Perform instrument maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure flawless operation.
Complete additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
