Senior Spinal Scrub Theatre Practitioner

Role: Senior Spinal Scrub Theatre Practitioner
Location: Paddington
Shifts: 4 or 5 days a week, Occasional Weekends, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £42,000 – £48,000 + unsocial uplift + benefits

We are looking for a Senior Theatre Practitioner with experience in Spinal Complex cases to join our clients theatre department, currently rated “Good” by the CQC. The theatres across the facilities, provide an enthusiastic, exciting and professional environment where the advance equipment and technology is second to none.

The Hospital provides the highest level of care for patients who are looking for the best treatment in key areas of healthcare, including: neurosurgery, spinal surgery, cardiac care, orthopaedics, acute neurological rehabilitation, gynaecology and cancer care. They have 13 Theatres covering multiple surgical specialties. Successful candidates will be part of a large theatre team of colleagues, experienced professionals. The Wellington Hospital has a successful track record of career progression, offering support, and development to those seeking to aspire higher or widen their knowledge. Including the offer of a Surgical First Assistant Course.

What you will do:

Provide high-quality care to patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures including Spinal / Neuro.
Run theatre lists and set up theatres.
Preparing and maintaining the sterile field, assisting the surgical team, and ensuring patient safety throughout the perioperative period.
Working as a team member in all areas of the theatre suite, sharing knowledge and information and supporting colleagues, to promote a cohesive team and the achievement of team objectives.
To ensure safety for patients and colleagues.What you will bring:

3 years of Spinal experience
HCPC/NMC Registered
Willing team member
