Diabetes Practice Nurse

Are you a Diabetes Nurse looking for an exciting new opportunity? Our client, a leader in health improvement services across the UK, is expanding their team in Bedfordshire. This role offers the chance to make a real difference in diabetes care, working alongside a dynamic team in various locations and comes with a salary of £44,000 a year with a £5,400 car allowance!

You will be working Monday – Friday 9-5 and enjoy a fantastic package of benefits including a company car or car allowance, private medical insurance, and an annual bonus incentive scheme. It's a great opportunity to advance your career while making a significant impact on patient care.

The Diabetes Practice Nurse will benefit from:
Annual salary up to £44,000
Annual bonus incentive scheme
Car allowance of £5,400!

Daily lunch allowance when in practice
NMC/RCN fees reimbursed
Monthly broadband contribution
Progression pathway for career development
The Diabetes Practice Nurse will:
Deliver high-quality care to improve patient outcomes in line with Diabetes guidelines
Identify and optimise care for patients with sub-optimally controlled Type 2 diabetes
Conduct point of care testing and refer for specialist insulin treatment as needed
Provide education, support, and advice to patients with Type 2 Diabetes
Fulfil corporate nursing responsibilities and contribute to a proactive care approach
The ideal Diabetes Practice Nurse will have:
A Diabetes diploma or equivalent EN qualification
At least 3 years of post-registration experience managing diabetes in primary care
Strong knowledge and confidence in providing education and advice to Type 2 Diabetes patients
Skills in optimising oral hypoglycaemics
A full driving licence and current NMC registration
IT literacy, including primary care systems
