- Position Type — Full-time Employee
- Pay Range — $23-27/hr *dependent upon relevant experience, certifications, and education.
- Work Schedule — Mondays through Fridays, 7:00am to 3:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Support clinical trial operations by assisting with patient visits, documentation, and clinical tasks.
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, specimen collection, and phlebotomy as trained and certified.
- Prepare for and participate in patient visits, protocol procedures, and study drug compliance.
- Assist with informed consent processes and patient education.
- Maintain accurate source documentation, regulatory paperwork, and study logs.
- Collaborate with physicians, study coordinators, and sponsors to ensure protocol adherence.
- Participate in recruitment, chart reviews, and telephone screening of research subjects.
- Process lab specimens and prepare for shipment.
- Respond to sponsor and monitor queries in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Required:
- Previous experience in a medical office, outpatient clinic, or clinical research setting
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Preferred:
- Strong organizational, communication, and patient service skills
- Current certification highly preferred from one of the following:
- Certified Medical Assistant (AAMA)
- Registered Medical Assistant (AMT or AAH)
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (NHA)
- National Certified Medical Assistant (NCCT)
- Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NAHP)
- Certified Medical Assistant Clinical (AMCA)
- Extremely well organized
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Trustworthy, reliable; attentive to details
- Mature and pleasant demeanor
- Willingness to learn new tasks and grow with the company
