Our client, a leader in the Advanced Materials is seeking a Lab Technician to join their team. As a Lab Technician, you will supporting various business groups. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Lab Technician
Location: Maplewood, MN
Pay Range: $18 to $22 p/h w-2
Duration: 12 month contract
What's the Job?
- Conducting complex tests with minimal supervision.
- Reporting test results in a detailed manner and communicating these results to requestors.
- Operating test equipment, including electro-mechanical test frames and analytical test equipment.
- Weighing and mixing chemicals and other raw materials for formulation screening.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Minimum of one (1) year of Microsoft Word and Excel experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years laboratory, manufacturing, or testing environment experience preferred.
- Associates/Two Year Technical degree or higher from an accredited university preferred.
- Experience working with testing equipment and a diverse team.
