Required:
- High School Diploma with at least 2 years of laboratory experience.
- An Associate Degree in Chemistry or a related field with 1 year of experience or a BS in Chemistry or a related science with no experience.
- Understand the safe handling of chemicals and equipment, including maintaining detailed records.
Responsibilities:
- Assist chemists in lab work.
- As time progresses, will be completing a greater number of tasks that previously would have been performed by highly trained chemists.
- Responsible for monitoring chemical processes and testing products as part of quality assurance.
- Under the supervision of chemists and other team members, perform repetitive lab activities, such as setting up lab equipment and preparing chemical solutions.
- Also conduct tests, interpret and analyze data, compile results, prepare reports, and present their conclusions.
