Field Service Engineer

What You Will Do:

– Serve as the first point of contact for customers, building strong and professional relationships. – Diagnose and repair complex instrument faults with precision and efficiency. – Deliver training to customers on the operation and maintenance of advanced scientific instrumentation. – Install new instruments at customer sites to the highest professional standards. – Perform planned preventative maintenance to ensure instruments operate at peak performance. – Travel extensively across the UK, with occasional opportunities for international travel.

– A solid technical background, ideally in electronics, physics, or analytical instrumentation. – Hands-on experience with complex equipment and a natural aptitude for practical work. – Strong diagnostic skills, including the ability to interpret technical drawings and troubleshoot electronic faults. – Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with customers and technical professionals. – A self-motivated and proactive approach, with a willingness to travel regularly and learn new skills.
