Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer with a strong background in Power Electronics, specifically within EV and renewable energy sectors, to join our Power Electronics & Test Validation team. This role involves conducting high-quality validation and verification tests, analyzing and driving R&D activities, and ensuring excellent performance in automotive applications. The position requires a seasoned individual with a minimum of 3 years' experience in power electronics development, testing, and a solid foundation in low-voltage digital and analog circuits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review schematics, PCB designs, calculate and simulate electronics circuits.
- Conduct verification and validation tests for electronics hardware in automotive applications.
- Utilize lab equipment (oscilloscope, network analyzers, signal analyzers, etc.) for testing and troubleshooting electronics systems.
- Analyze root-cause issues in low-voltage electronics systems and lead R&D activities.
- Communicate complex concepts clearly through strong technical writing and communication skills.
Must-Have Skills:
- Expertise in low-voltage digital and analog circuits.
- Proficiency in using lab equipment for electronics testing and troubleshooting.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills.
Industry Experience:
- Experience in power electronics for EV (Electric Vehicles) and renewable energy is required.
This full-time position is based in Newark, CA, and requires the candidate to work 100% onsite with a strong likely hood of extension. The ideal candidate will have at least a M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and exhibit strong hands-on and troubleshooting skills.
