Quality Assurance Automation Engineer III
Birmingham, AL or Atlanta, GA Hybrid 3 days onsite each week
3 6 months contract to hire
Pay Rate: $55.00 to $65.00 per hr.
We need a Quality Assurance (QA) Automation Engineer III to develop automated tests that validate the functionality of application systems across various platforms, including web, mobile, and mainframe.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated functional and API tests
- Validate production readiness for every release
- Integrate automation into the CI/CD pipeline (Harness used, but any CI/CD is acceptable)
- Feed automated test results into Q-test (test management tool)
- Collaborate directly with the development team (18-person team, Agile-based, 2 Scrum teams)
- Automate functional and API test cases for E&D front-end and backend systems
- Maintain and enhance a test suite of 300 500+ cases
- Participate in frequent release testing (~4 6 per month)
Required Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED and ten (10) years of experience in test automation and/or software development
- Or Bachelor's degree and six (6) years of experience in test automation and/or software development
- 5 7 years of QA experience, ideally in automation
- C# (within .NET ecosystem) primary development language
- Selenium UI test automation
- Postman API testing
- Q-test test case and results management
- Strong functional and regression testing experience (300 500 test cases per regression cycle)
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with Harness CI/CD (any CI/CD experience will suffice)
- Leadership/people management skills potential path to team lead/manager upon conversion
- Prior experience in banking/financial services (not required)
