Overview:
Barton Supply is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our Structural Steel team. In this role, you will ensure our steel products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance while leading a dedicated QA team. What You’ll Do

Develop, implement, and oversee quality assurance procedures and standards for structural steel products.

Conduct inspections, tests, and audits to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and industry standards.

Lead, mentor, and evaluate the QA team to ensure consistent performance.

Partner with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and drive corrective/preventive actions.

Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and communicate findings to management and stakeholders.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality.

Participate in supplier audits and support the integration of new processes and technologies.
What We’re Looking For

Minimum of 5 years of quality assurance experience, preferably in structural steel or a related industry.

Proven success in a leadership or supervisory role.

Strong knowledge of quality systems, inspection methods, and root cause analysis.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Ability to work on the production floor, inspect products, and handle materials up to 50 lbs.

Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and compliance with industry and company standards.
Work Environment

Manufacturing setting with exposure to noise, dust, and temperature changes.
-
PPE is required and provided.

Use of inspection tools, quality management software, and standard office equipment.
