As a Microbiology Technician within the Advanced Measurement Sciences (AMS) department, you will be a part of a dynamic, collaborative team to build our capabilities for tuberculosis testing for cleaning/disinfecting products. The role will focus on building and validating our capability to provide technical guidance and microbiological expertise for our Professional Business Unit to make claims against tuberculosis. The team will work closely with multiple R&D groups, including the Analytical team and Product Developers within the Professional Business Unit. The Micro team operates in a new, 3,000 sq ft. state-of-the-art laboratory at the Client Pleasanton R&D campus in Pleasanton, California (San Francisco Bay Area). Our lab space is growing, and we have several new and exciting instruments coming online.
The Microbiology Technician Cleaning R&D position is in alignment with the Cleaning Business strategy to lead with #1 brands in the cleaning, sanitization, and disinfection categories. This role supports critical internal R&D formulation development required to establish robust products and method development for various initiatives across all of Client s businesses. The focus of this role will be on parterning closely with a Senior Microbiologist to develop and validate our internal capabilities for testing our Professional products against tuberculosis. This role is responsible for the prep, execution, and data analysis of laboratory testing in conjunction with the guidance of Scientists and oversight of the Group Manager. The Microbiology Technician is also responsible for implementing tools, resources and practices which serve to increase our microbiological acumen on tuberculosis testing while working safely alongside other team members.
