About this Position / Responsibilities:
- Lead QA efforts for small to medium-sized IT projects.
- Develop and execute test plans, use cases, and test scripts.
- Perform manual and automated testing using tools like Selenium, SOAPUI, and Appium.
- Conduct API testing for RESTful and SOAP web services.
- Coordinate with business and IT stakeholders to ensure testing aligns with project goals.
- Track and manage defects using tools such as JIRA or Rally.
- Prepare QA documentation and project status reports.
- Support data validation and reporting using PowerBI and SQL queries.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy practices and standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of QA experience, including leadership roles.
- Strong experience with Maximo and Cityworks
Proficiency in the following:
- Selenium, SOAPUI, REST/SOAP APIs
- SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL
- PowerBI, Jenkins, GitHub
- Appium, Perfecto (Mobile Testing)
- JIRA, Rally
- Experience with Microsoft.Net, Java, PHP/MySQL applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the Utilities industry.
- ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
- Familiarity with Log4j, JDBC, and continuous integration tools.
- Experience with statistical reporting and data analysis.
