We are looking for an Operations Researcher who is analytical and focused on getting results to join our team. The person who gets the job will use advanced math, statistics, and computer science to look at complicated systems and make operations run more smoothly. This job requires working closely with project teams and stakeholders to help make strategic decisions, improve processes, and come up with practical solutions to problems within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Create, use, and keep up mathematical models, simulations, and optimization methods to solve problems in business and operations.

Use big, complicated data sets to do quantitative analyses that find trends, risks, and chances.

Look at and understand data to find useful information that can help with process improvement, resource allocation, and strategic planning.

Work with teams from different departments to figure out what the problems are, what the project goals are, and what the operational limits are.

Use written reports, presentations, and data visualizations to clearly explain your research results and suggestions.

Help with the planning and assessment of experiments and pilots to make processes and systems better.

Stay up to date on new developments in operations research, analytics, and best practices in your field.

Qualification:

You need a bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field.

At least two years of experience in operations research, data analysis, or a similar analytical job.

You should be able to use analytical and modeling tools like Python, R, MATLAB, SAS, or something similar.

A good grasp of optimization, simulation, and statistical analysis methods.

Experience with tools for visualizing data (like Tableau and Power BI) and good presentation skills.

Great at solving problems, thinking critically, and talking to people.

Preferred Qualifications:

A master's or Ph.D. in operations research, applied mathematics, or a related field.

Worked in consulting, defense, logistics, government, or technology before.

Knowledge of machine learning, AI, and advanced analytics techniques.

Professional certification(s) in analytics, data science, or a field that is similar.

Pay by the hour: $45 to $75, depending on experience and qualifications.
