About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IBM Maximo Testing Lead to oversee testing activities for our IBM Maximo (Enterprise Asset Management) implementation and enhancement projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the end-to-end testing strategy, ensuring quality deliverables, managing testing teams, and working closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the testing efforts for IBM Maximo EAM implementations, upgrades, and integrations.

Define and manage test strategy, test plans, test cases, and test data specific to Maximo modules (e.g., Work Management, Inventory, Asset, Procurement).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, Developers, and Functional Consultants to ensure complete test coverage.

Coordinate and manage different levels of testing Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Regression Testing.

Own the defect lifecycle: logging, triaging, tracking, and closure using tools like JIRA, Client ALM, or equivalent.

Support test automation strategy where applicable, using tools compatible with Maximo.

Conduct impact analysis for Maximo enhancements and plan regression testing accordingly.

Lead and mentor a team of testers, both onshore and offshore, ensuring delivery milestones are met.

Work with stakeholders to obtain approvals and sign-offs at different testing stages.

Generate test reports, metrics, and dashboards for project tracking and governance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

8+ years of experience in QA/testing with at least 4+ years in IBM Maximo testing.

In-depth understanding of IBM Maximo modules and workflows.

Experience in testing integrations between Maximo and other systems (e.g., SAP, GIS, SCADA, ERP).

Familiarity with Maximo versions 7.x, 8.x or MAS (Maximo Application Suite) is a strong plus.

Strong knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, Client ALM, Zephyr, etc.).

Ability to write and execute SQL queries for data validation.

Experience in both Agile and Waterfall project environments.

Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Proven ability to lead QA teams and manage multiple testing streams.
