The Quality Manager position is an exciting opportunity to join PM Group’s quickly growing Boston area team out of Burlington, MA. Together we are sharing knowledge, learning, growing, and continuing to be an integral part of supporting PM Group’s ongoing expansion in the US. Our office is executing cutting-edge projects for Pharmaceutical, Biologics and Cell & Gene Therapy, manufacturing facilities – from feasibility through to qualification – for both local and international clients. Together with our clients and partners, we will deliver projects that improve the everyday lives of people across the globe.
We are looking for a professional who enjoys people interaction and will support the expanding business in the USA business unit. The Quality Manager will be responsible for working closely with the US management teams and Quality Assurance Coordinators to implement and monitor PM Group’s Quality Management System (QMS) and to drive excellent and consistent service delivery across all US business units and associated sites. The successful applicant will also identify and embed improvements in our service delivery platforms and work practices. This full-time role will require travel to support all US Business Units.

:
- Promote consistent quality assurance practices and drive the adoption of critical company procedures across the US Business Units (BU)
- Execute the role of Quality Assurance across all the US BU
- Develop and monitor the implementation of the internal audit program for each BU
- Perform internal audits (office & site) in accordance with BU audit schedules
- Follow up on audit findings to drive the resolution and close out of corrective actions
- Facilitate audits by external parties, i.e. ISO certification bodies, Client, etc.
- In liaison with senior management and the Group Quality Manager, supporting the US BUs in achieving and maintaining certification to the ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management Standard
- Develop and implement a Quality Objectives Program for each BU
- Conducting training (QMS inductions, Authorized Checker training, core QMS document awareness training, etc.) as needed
- Provide advice and assistance to management and personnel on compliance / QMS related queries
- Ensure adequate focus is put on the planning and initiation phase of new projects
- Meet regularly with BU senior management (Operations, Projects, Engineering, etc.) and Group Quality to review quality performance and to identify and implement improvement initiatives
- Facilitate the capture and transfer of lessons on projects
- Support the Client feedback process, including analysis of results and identification of process improvements
- Support the Lost Profit Capture (Cost of Poor Quality) process, including conducting root cause analysis where required
- Assist with the development of localized procedures where required, ensuring consistency and compliance to PM Group’s QMS
- Provide input for proposals / client presentations
- Contribute to the development and implementation of Group improvement initiatives
- Provide timely feedback for monthly reports, Quality metrics, management meetings, etc.
- Special projects as needed
:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline – or equivalent professional experience
- Prior experience in a similar role within an engineering service or consultancy environment
- Proven knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management standard
- Strong ability to manage and effectively prioritize multiple tasks independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent collaborative and interpersonal skills
- Broad experience working on multidisciplinary projects
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated, decisive, and professional in approach and demeanor
