Job Title:Lab Technician
Location: San Jose, CA
Onsite/ Remote:Onsite

Key Responsibilities:
Tool Operation: Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools for board-level testing and validation.
Hardware Debugging: Perform soldering and rework on boards; assist in hardware bring-up and validation.
Asset Management: Track and manage lab assets including servers, networking gear, cables, and tools.
Server Handling: Rack/unrack servers safely; perform server setup, configuration, and maintenance.
Power
Network Planning: Assist in planning and implementing power and network redundancy strategies.
Networking: Configure and troubleshoot IPv4 networks, VLANs, DHCP/static IP setups.
Linux Proficiency: Perform system administration tasks and scripting in Linux environments.
IPMI/BMC: Monitor and manage server health using IPMI and BMC interfaces.
Cable Management: Ensure clean and organized cabling for power and data connections.
Data Center Experience: Work in a lab/data center environment with attention to safety and operational protocols.
Python Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts for lab tasks and monitoring.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds
