Location: St Martin of Tours – London Services
Reporting to: Supported Housing Manager
Contract: 35 hours per week Mon – Fri
DBS: Enhanced DBS required
St. Martin of Tours is pleased to invite internal applications for the role of Recovery Keyworker. This is an important and developing role within our services, supporting the delivery of high-quality, recovery-focused care to residents with mental health needs.
This position offers an opportunity for staff who are committed to recovery-based practice, resident-focused care, and strong teamwork to take on greater responsibility and contribute to the ongoing development of our services.
About the Role
As a Recovery Keyworker, you will play a key role in leading shifts and ensuring a safe, therapeutic and welcoming environment for residents and staff. You will act as a named Recovery Keyworker for 7 residents, coordinating care and support planning from move-in through to move on using a Recovery approach.
You will support day-to-day unit management, model St Martin of Tours values in practice, and work closely with colleagues, managers and partner agencies to promote positive outcomes for residents.
Key Responsibilities Include
Providing shift leadership and supporting staff on duty
Acting as Recovery Keyworker to 7 residents, including care and support planning, reviews and evaluations
Ensuring recovery-focused, person-centred practice is consistently delivered
Maintaining accurate and timely records and reports, including incident reporting via Datix
Promoting safety, dignity, safeguarding and residents’ rights at all times
Supporting residents with activities of daily living in line with their support plans
Contributing to a positive team culture and service improvement
Supporting compliance with policies, procedures, HR processes and mandatory training
About You
We are looking for colleagues who can demonstrate:
Experience supporting people with complex mental health needs
A good understanding of safeguarding, mental health legislation and recovery-based practice
Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
The ability to lead by example and work effectively as part of a multiagency team
A respectful, professional and person-centred approach to care
A relevant qualification is desirable but not essential. Commitment to the values and ethos of St Martin of Tours is essential.
