Locum Practice Nurse – GP Surgery – Plymouth
Position: Practice Nurse (Locum)
Location: GP Surgery, Plymouth
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Ongoing, until April
Hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Flexible on days and times)
Pay Rate: £25 – £33 per hour (depending on pay type: PAYE or Limited Company)
We are recruiting for an experienced and motivated Practice Nurse to join one of our friendly and supportive GP surgery team in Plymouth on a locum basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled nurse looking to work in a dynamic environment with flexibility in hours and days.
Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out normal treatment room duties such as wound care, immunizations, cytology, and chronic disease management.

Assisting with the smooth running of the practice and providing excellent patient care.
*
Collaborating with the GP team to ensure high-quality clinical care.
Requirements:
*
Minimum 6 months experience in a GP surgery setting.
*
Strong experience with System One (clinical system).
*
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*
A flexible approach to working hours (can work around preferred shifts and days).
*
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
