Quality Inspector (NDE Level II) – 1st Shift | $25–$30/hr | Canonsburg, PA

Full-Time | Direct Hire | 50+ Hours/Week

TradeWorX is currently hiring an experienced Quality Inspector / NDE Level II for an industrial manufacturing facility in Canonsburg, PA. This role supports the inspection of precision-machined metal components and assemblies used in safety-critical industrial applications.

Job Information

• Pay Rate: $25.00–$30.00/hour (based on experience and interview)

• Shift: 1st Shift

• Schedule: Monday–Friday

• Hours: Minimum 50 hours/week (10-hour shifts)

• Overtime: Expected and consistent

Job Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections on machined metal components

• Conduct Non-Destructive Testing (NDE/NDT) including UT, MT, and LP (as applicable)

• Use precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, and height gauges

• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection criteria

• Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records

• Identify non-conforming material and support corrective actions

• Work closely with production and engineering teams

• Maintain all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards

Required Qualifications

• NDE Level II certification in UT, MT, and/or LP (one or more acceptable)

• 5+ years of hands-on inspection experience in manufacturing or machining

• Strong experience working with tight tolerances and precision components

• Proficient with precision measuring tools

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

• Comfortable working extended hours and overtime

• Able to pass background check and drug screening
