Job Description
Scientist responsibilities include:
- Conducts studies to assess persistence and behavior of chemicals in the environment including biodegradation of organic chemicals, bioaccumulation in fish, hydrolysis phototransformation and partitioning in soils and sediments. Experience to perform metabolite identification.
- Designs and supervises experiments in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Serves as an expert for technical issues for staff and customers.
- Performs data evaluations, reviews the work of others, and writes technical reports.
- May serve as a primary business contact for clients.
