Quality Inspector
The Quality Inspector is responsible to check the quality of all incoming and outgoing material and products. You will be a firm advocate of quality in our business. The ideal candidate will possess a trained eye for detail, reliable, and committed. Knowledge and comprehension of quality standards is essential. The goal is to ensure our products are made of flawless materials with well-functioning equipment which meet our customer's high standards.
Essential Duties:
- Read blueprints and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the product and supplies
- Approve or reject product with respect to quality standards and record supplier performance
- Select output samples and check them using appropriate methods (measuring dimensions, testing functionality, comparing to specifications etc.)
- Use measuring tools such as calipers and various gauges to ensure correct dimensions
- Maintain records of testing, information, and various metrics such as number of defective products per day etc.
- Monitor the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and well-maintained and discard any that doesn't meet requirements
- Attends production meetings and tracks when orders will be ready.
- Documents all related activities and completes forms and reports as required.
- Maintains, organizes, and cleans equipment and the work area.
- Performs other clerical duties.
- Participates in activities and exercises in support of C&W production and safety initiatives.
- Follows all applicable policies and procedures.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
Experience: 2+ years of experience with welding and/or manufacturing preferred

- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the systems utilized by the organization, such as inventory management software. Made-2-Manage experience preferred.
- Basic math skills required; basic trigonometry knowledge preferred.
- Must be flexible, dependable, and have the ability to work overtime.
- Ability to adhere to safety rules and procedures and safety minded.

Work Environment:
The Quality Inspector will work in a manufacturing facility subject to indoor and outdoor environmental conditions, with exposure to occasional temperatures below 32 degrees or above 100 degrees. The noise level in the environment may be moderate to loud.
