The Science Team at Russell Tobin is supporting a world-class organization that has an opening for “Lab Technician II”.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, organize, and maintain laboratory spaces for analytical testing.
Support testing and evaluation of new materials and samples.
Perform sample preparation using pipettes, analytical balances, cutting tools, and related lab equipment.
Conduct chemical and mechanical testing to generate basic analytical data.
Perform visual inspections and comparative testing of materials, including competitor products.
Accurately document test results, observations, and data.
Follow all laboratory safety procedures and work instructions.
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma with 1+ year laboratory technician experience in an industrial, academic, government, or commercial lab
OR
Associate degree in a laboratory science (chemistry, biology, microbiology, or related field).
Working knowledge of analytical testing methods and laboratory equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with one or more analytical techniques: Mechanical or rheological testing, LC/HPLC, GC, IC, XRF, ICP spectroscopy and Titration

Location: Maplewood, MN 55144
Contract Length: 12 Months
Pay range: $22-26/hr. on W2
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
