Paediatric Clinical Lead
Location: Hampshire, West Sussex and Surrey
Salary: £45,000 to £50,000
Working Pattern: Hybrid with regional travel
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
Contract: Full time, permanent

We are recruiting a Paediatric Clinical Lead to join a well established, nurse led community complex care provider supporting children with high acuity needs across the South.

This is a senior clinical opportunity within a growing organisation offering autonomy, strong governance support and structured progression. The Paediatric Clinical Lead will initially manage a small caseload of four complex care packages due to continued growth across Hampshire, West Sussex and Surrey.

The Role The Paediatric Clinical Lead will provide clinical oversight across community based paediatric complex care packages, ensuring safe mobilisation, workforce competency and high clinical standards.

You will work closely with families, case managers, commissioners and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective care within the home environment.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical oversight of paediatric complex care packages
Completing assessments, care plans and structured clinical reviews
Mobilisation of new care packages
Clinical training and competency sign off for nurses and healthcare assistants
Governance of tracheostomy, ventilation and complex clinical interventions
Liaison with families, MDT teams and commissioners
Safeguarding escalation and clinical risk management
Participation in audits and quality improvement initiatives
Experience Required

Registered Nurse with active NMC PIN (RGN or RSCN considered)
Experience within paediatric complex care or community care
Knowledge of tracheostomy care, ventilation or advanced respiratory support
Leadership or senior nurse experience
Experience working alongside case managers or commissioners
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regionally
