Schedule
Training: 7am to 3pm, Monday to Friday
Shift: 3pm to 11pm, Tuesday to Saturday
Responsibilities
- Conduct quality control grabs every four hours, along with additional grabs as needed.
- Prepare and perform composite analyses.
- Assist in shipping samples to customers and conducting other tests.
- Perform chemical analytical and physical testing using advanced instrumentation and methods.
- Communicate sample analysis progress and results with Production Supervisors.
- Maintain a clean work environment and laboratory records.
- Assist with composite analyses as needed.
- Work safely at all times and report unsafe conditions to your Supervisor.
- Troubleshoot issues in assigned work areas and communicate with your Supervisor regarding non-routine events.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor, Plant Manager, or Production Department Head.
Requirements
- Some higher education or a secondary science degree is preferred.
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Minimum 6 months of industrial laboratory, manufacturing, or production experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
Language/Math/Reasoning Ability
Ability to read and comprehend work and safety instructions and directions. Comprehend basic math and other equations.
