Compensation:
- Base pay starting between $66,200 to $82,800/yr

Job Duties:
The Quality Engineer will ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions across a complex retail technology ecosystem that includes ERP, warehouse and inventory systems, reporting, cloud commerce, data platforms, and third-party integrations. You will partner with business and engineering teams to understand workflows, assess risk, design validation strategies, and perform hands-on testing of retail systems and integrations. This role requires both strategic thinking and direct execution of functional, integration, regression, and data validation activities.
- Collaborate with development teams and retail business partners to understand requirements, workflows, and system impacts
- Design and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test scenarios
- Perform hands-on validation of retail workflows including inventory movement, order lifecycle, product data updates, financial postings, and warehouse operations
- Validate APIs, batch processes, event-driven integrations, and data transformations between systems
- Perform data validation and reconciliation activities using queries and reporting tools
- Identify defects, document findings clearly, and partner with engineering through triage and resolution
- Participate in release cycles, including regression execution and release validation activities
- Evaluate test coverage and identify gaps in risk, workflow, or integration validation
- Contribute to automation efforts and support continuous improvement of regression practices
- Support production validation efforts and post-release verification when needed
Qualifications:
- 5+ Years of Quality Engineering experience required
- Proven experience performing functional and integration testing in enterprise or retail systems
- Experience validating end-to-end workflows across multiple platforms
- Data Integration and API testing tools
- SQL & Data query tools
- Azure Dev Ops
- Dynamics 365 Retail + Finance
- Retail, inventory, warehouse or e-commerce systems
- Familiarity with integration validation including APIs, flat files, batch jobs, and event messaging
- Experience with risk-based testing, risk analysis techniques, shift-left and shift-right methodologies of Quality Engineering
