Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Chemist I with our medical device client in Minneapolis, MN. This is a 24-month contract with a potential for extension.
Pay: $28.00/hr</strong>; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.
Schedule: Fully onsite.
Description:
- Prepare chemical standards, reagents, and dilutions using established wet bench chemistry techniques and SOPs
- Perform precise weighing and measurement using analytical balances and pipettes to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Support analytical laboratory operations, including sample preparation, vial setup, and proper labeling of materials
- Maintain organized lab workspace and documentation in compliance with safety and quality standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required (Chemistry, Biology, or related scientific field preferred)
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience with wet bench chemistry, including preparation of standards, reagents, and dilutions
- Proficiency with analytical balances and pipetting techniques with strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with basic analytical lab processes such as sample handling, vial preparation, and labeling
