- Develop thorough issue ticketing processes that are reproducible with a minimal number of steps, and testable for specific passing conditions.
- Provide timely feedback to engineers after ticketed tasks and issues have been resolved.
- Respond to internal quality issue reports, answer day-to-day technical questions, and help troubleshoot unexpected problems.
- Support development teams and product managers by authoring and executing thorough test plans.
- Create and maintain code to run automated tests to reduce the manual testing burden.
- Record and maintain example data that helps with software testing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent work experience.
- Previous experience with motion capture or other camera systems.
- Eye for detail and ability to spot small inconsistencies in visuals.
- Experience forming test plans, organizing test equipment and processes, and tracking defects through a ticket tracking system.
- Experience in at least one scripting or programming language (Python, C++, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong team player, possessing the willingness to seek feedback, adopt company best practices, and continuously learn and improve.
- Bonus
- Bachelor's degree focusing on game development, graphics, or other computer graphics focused degrees.
- Two or more years of experience in software quality assurance and/or software engineering.
