These in-depth interviews, typically conducted via telephone on a quarterly basis, provide the basis for our Channel Research. Our live Forum events bring together industry professionals in roundtable conference calls and inperson events, facilitating discussions on market trends, recent industry
developments, risks and opportunities.
Who You Are:
We are seeking a motivated Research Associate to join our Santa Fe-based research team. In this role, you will conduct phone interviews with professionals across a range of industries — including Retail, Restaurants, Construction, and Healthcare — to gather real-time, unbiased insights that inform high-impact investment research. The ideal candidate is a curious, resilient communicator who is comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and eager to contribute to work that shapes decisions for institutional investors.
POSITION LOCATION
Santa Fe, New Mexico. This is a part-time in-office position at our Santa Fe, NM location.
What You'll Do:
- Conduct Primary Research Interviews: Perform outbound phone interviews with industry professionals to collect unbiased, real-time insights across sectors including Retail, Restaurants, Construction, and Healthcare.
- Capture and Input Findings: Record interview data accurately into our proprietary system, ensuring findings arcomplete, consistent, and ready to inform research reporting.
- Support Research Production: Contribute directly to the development of high-impact reports used by institutional investors, helping translate raw insights into actionable intelligence.
- Maintain Data Integrity: Apply strong attention to detail when logging responses and cross-referencing information to ensure accuracy across all inputs.
- Collaborate with the Research Team: Work alongside fellow associates and research staff to meet daily and weekly targets while upholding quality standards.

What You Bring:
- Experience: Prior experience in a research, customer-facing, or phone-based role is a plus; entry-level candidates with strong communication skills are encouraged to apply.
- Skills:
- Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills
- Strong computer and typing skills; comfortable multitasking across systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Teams
- Resilient and self-motivated, with comfort in cold-calling environments
- Curious, quick learner with strong attention to detail
- Preferred:
- Prior knowledge of or professional experience in Retail, Restaurants, or Construction
- Additional Requirements:
- Team-oriented, yet capable of working independently
- Flexible availability Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–4:30 pm
- Must reside in Santa Fe, New Mexico
What We Offer:
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
- $23/hour with growth opportunities
- 5–25 hours/week (5-hour shifts, mostly 9:00–2:00 pm or 11:30 am–4:30 pm)
- In-office only (Santa Fe location)
- Accrued Sick Leave
